The GRT in the cradle of youth sports development
For the second time in 2023, the Budapest Great Choice of Sports and Great Choice of Instruments took place on 15-16 September at the Merkapt Sports Centre. Not only among the 111 sports and 25 instruments, the 23.169 visitors who attended the event could find something new, but also among the participating teams, as the Hungarian motorsport’s circuit racing was represented by the Gender Racing Team with the presentation of one of the first generation Tatuus Formula 4 race cars.
In addition to the racing car, the team's stand also featured exciting race footage and reports on a monitor. The GRT was delighted to participate for the first time in this traditional youth sports development event, as the Great Choice of Sports has already proven in several sports how important it is to actively reach out to these school age groups at an early age, as in a few years they will become the new fans, supporters, competitors, champions and other sports background people of the sporting world! This is demonstrated by the fact that the Great Sports Festival was not short of athletes and role models, with more than 30 European, World and Olympic champions from different sports taking part in the event.
