Last round on the new home-track

The first racing season of F4 CEZ Championship is coming to its last round. The field of the final round is going to compete in three races on Hungary’s new race track in Balatonfőkajár at Balaton Park Circuit. 

The 2023 season has kept numerous gratifying and professional milestones in store for Gender Racing Team. An up-to-date new racing technology by purchasing second generation Tatuus T421 Formula 4 racing cars. In addition to this, F4 CEZ Championship, a very prestigious international racing series accredited by FIA, and by the end of the season the new race track that has been long awaited by Hungarian motorsport community. The F4 CEZ Championship will be the first official championship organized at the Balaton Park Circuit which was built near Balatonfőkajár. 
The last three races will be exciting because this track will be unknown for the drivers and their results will be highly determined by their ability to adapt to the track and to find the optimal settings. What makes the chances equal even more is the fact that Balaton Park is not available in any simulator programs, so everyone must “take a walk” on the track to gather information about it. In addition to this, every round and kilometre will be particularly precious during the five free practices on Friday. The racing weekend is organized similarly to the previous racing weekends with three races. The qualifying is taking place on Saturday morning followed by the first race in the afternoon. The second race is starting in the morning on Sunday, and the final race in the early afternoon. 
GRT driver, Oliver Michl is looking forward to the challenges of the new race track. He can expect good results after a successful racing weekend in Brno where Oliver and the team performed their most successful races so far. GRT driver’s goal is to step up to the fourth position standing only eight points behind his Danish rival. With an outstanding performance and a little luck, he can even get to the third place of the podium, but this scenario has rather a mathematical chance. 
Irrespectively of the final results, Gender Racing Team has had a special and exciting season, and welcomes all motorsport fans to the new race track of Hungary by the Lake Balaton.
